The Civiettes Club is a local organization benefiting the United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham. The Civiettes Club enjoys a rich history dating back to 1932. Over the years, it has evolved into a prominent civic group while continually increasing membership into its ranks. The group is committed to fundraising and community service, which has resulted in numerous awards including the Lotus Club Award; the Club of the Year Award; the Volunteer Group Award from the Alabama Developmental Disabilities Planning Council; the Governor's Volunteer Award; and the National Award for Commitment to Excellence.
As a member of the Civiettes Club it was exciting to have our team at Mop get involved with this Event, which helped raise over $10,000.
